A short player described as 'a midget' on his debut when he kicked two goals, Britt did not play for Melbourne again. He was cleared to St Kilda in April 1903 and played three games for them that year.

He was cleared to VFA side Williamstown in July 1903, and remained there until the end of 1905. Cleared to South Ballarat in May 1911.
