1948 and 1949 Seconds player who was cleared to Queenscliff, then played for Geelong West in 1951 when he led the Ballarat league goalkicking.
Refused a clearance to Geelong in April 1952, but was eventually allowed to join them in exchange for Ian Toyne and played two games. Joined Carlton in 1953 and played 12 games over two seasons.
