Forward who played one season at Collingwood in 1911 and was cleared to Melbourne before the next season started. Sheehan never appeared with the Redlegs and was cleared to the City club in Launceston before the 1913 season.

He re-emerged in Victoria in 1915 and was cleared to play for Richmond, where he played in 1915 and 1917. He served in World War I.
