George Aitken

George Aitken DOB: 1864

Backman from 1882 to 1888. Acted as captain in 1884 when McDonald suffered an injury and was elevated to the role permanently the next year.

Served as a club vice-president in 1889.

Played in an 1898 old players game against Essendon.

Served as Chairman of the National Council of Wool Selling Brokers from 1920, and spent 54 years in the wool industry before retiring in October 1936.
