Career statistics

Centreman and nephew of a former interstate champion Percy Furler signed with the Demons in 1944 while stationed in Victoria with the RAAF but never played a senior match.

Appeared in six games with Hawthorn the next year, then captain coached Ainslie in 1947.

Served in the Army and RAAF (Headquarters Southern Area) during World War II.
