Highly sought after full-forward who had also been sought after by Geelong. London was meant to fill a position in which the 1928 side had been weak. He seriously injured his knee kicking the ground on debut and didn't play again.

Remained on the list throughout 1929 but did not play another game. In 1933 he was cleared back to Sandringham.
