Former basketballer recruited by St Kilda after finishing runner-up in the Southern Saints best and fairest award. Played one game for the Saints in 2020 before being delisted.
Johnson then served as captain of the Casey Demons VFLW side, before being redrafted by Melbourne for the 2022 AFLW spring season. After three games she sat out the rest of the year after announcing her pregnancy. Returned to the list in 2023 and was an emergency for games late in the season but did not play and was delisted at the end of the season.
