In their second Friday night game of the season, the Demons confirmed they couldn't finish anywhere but 17th with a disappointing loss. The defeat was their second biggest of the year, to a side only just above them on the ladder. They conceded the first three goals , then bounced back to be only one goal down at the first change. They then went goalless for the next two quarters, by which time the game was over. Two quick goals in the last quarter extended their tally to five in a disappointing evening.
Best were Melksham, Oliver and Viney. Chandler injured his finger.
