Centre half-back who played at Brighton from 1935 to 1941 before transferring to Sydney while on AIF duty during the war. He'd been offered a spot on South Melbourne's list in the 1941 pre-season but chose to stay in the VFA.
Hall played with Melbourne while on army leave in 1944 and 1945, also regularly turning out with Sydney side St George from 1944 to 1947. Returned to Brighton midway through 1947 and remained there through 1951.
