Rover who played in the Woodville-West Torrens' 1993 premiership side and South Australia's under 17 representative team before joining the Crows. Selected with pick 41 in the 1993 Pre-Season Draft he struggled with injuries during his time at Football Park.

Traded to Melbourne in a straight swap for future Crow premiership player Clay Sampson, Pesch suffered hamstring injuries on three seperate occasions throughout 1997 and was restricted to just four games. He was delisted at the end of the year.

Played for SANFL side Woodville-West Torrens after his AFL career ended. He won their best and fairest award in 1998 and was named as an interchange player in the Team of the Decade.
