Defender/midfielder signed on the eve of the 2022 season as a replacement for Isabella Simmons, who had been ruled out for the year by a foot injury. Didn't play a game during the year and was delisted at the end of the season. The Demons picked her again with their first selection in the post-season draft. A season-ending injury to Gabrielle Colvin opened a spot for Chaplin, and she played all but one game for the season on the way to a premiership victory.
Missed the opening round of 2023 with concussion, and was dropped for two weeks in the middle of the season but played a further nine games. Signed a one year contract extension at the end of the year.
