1936 recruit who didn't play a senior game. Melbourne beat North to his signature.

Trialled with Hawthorn in 1933, then joined Geelong in 1934 after transferring for work. He played two games the next year.

Didn't play senior football in 1936 and joined Fairfield in mid-1937 instead. Returned to pre-season training in 1937 but didn't make the final list. Became a VFL boundary umpire in 1940, then served in the Australian Postal Corps from 1942 to 1946.
