The sister of premiership player Blaithin Mackin joined the club at the end of her Gaelic Football season in Ireland. She had previously been named the league's best players, and was a three time all-star. Mackin made her senior debut a month after arriving in Australia, impressing in her first game, and narrowly being denied a goal that bounced the wrong way on the goalline, directly into the hands of Blaithin who kicked it instead.
After six games in her debut season, Mackin signed a one year contract extension but missed 2024 after suffering a serious knee injury in a Gaelic Football match.
