The Demons recovered from conceding the first goal to qualify for the Grand Final on the back of a tough defensive performance. After conceding an early goal in the second term, they held North to just two behinds for the rest of the day. The Roos were still within a goal at three quarter time, before two last quarter goals sealed victory.
