Victor Bass Forsyth Gordon played three games for St Kilda in 1911 before being cleared to Melbourne before the 1914 season after a stint with Hawthorn.

He played one season as a follower, appearing in just one win, then joined Carlton for one match in 1915 before sailing for service in World War I three weeks later. In July 1916 he was shot in the leg, ending his active service in the war. He returned to Australia in September 1919 but never played football again.
