1937 pre-season defender who didn't play seniors. He'd previously played with St Kilda from 1930 to 1933, then again as a forward in 1936 after returning from a coaching stint in the country. After initially retiring in the 1937 pre-season, he appeared in a Melbourne practice match playing on Norm Smith. He wasn't happy with his form and retired again.
