Russell Richards was reported for time wasting but was cleared. Steve Turner was reported for striking and found guilty, but as he was still a registered WAFL player the Western Australian league was asked to determine the penalty. He was fined $750, and Cameron Schwab flew to Perth to pay it.

David Cordner suffered a broken collarbone. Best were Johnson, Cordner and Wilson.
