1986 Draft

In an era where drafting was nowhere near the science it is today and where the Under 19s system still ruled, the first full national draft was a particuarly successful one for the Demons with both Steven Febey and Andy Lovell rapidly becoming members of the senior squad and Matthew Febey eventually making it after years of disappointment with injury.
