Career statistics
17-year-old forward who was recruited in the 1968 pre-season after kicking 45 goals in the Tasmanian junior competition. Did not play a senior game and returned to Tasmania. Kicked 10 goals in the 1970 TANFL Grand Final and lead the league's goalkicking the next year, before returning to the VFL with Geelong where he played two seasons.
Mayne died after a road rage incident in 1983.
