Another Saturday afternoon with threatening rain, and another five goal loss for the Reds who were rapidly sinking to the bottom of the table.
Geelong put in their best performance of the year in victory and their high marking and long kicking was dominant. Melbourne won credit for their marking but the visitors were faster to the ball and after an even first quarter ran away with victory.
