Career Statistics

Cleared from South Melbourne in June 1934, Cheffers played Seconds until the end of 1935. Received a special award for play during the '35 Seconds finals before joining St Kilda the next year. The quick wingman was also a professional runner. He played eight games in three years with St Kilda, later serving in the Army (2/2 Infantry Troops Workshop) in World War II during 1942
