Josh Mahoney

Josh Mahoney DOB: 31 October 1977

Former Port Adelaide premiership player who served as an assistant coach (midfielders) under Dean Bailey from 2008 before becoming forward coach in 2010.

Named Football Manager at the end of 2011, he became Football Operations Manager in September 2013 as one of few to survive the Mark Neeld coaching era.

In 2020 he joined Essendon as Football Manager, staying there until 2023 when he joined the AFL as head of its Football Operations department.
