John Watson

DOB: Unknown
Died: June 1884

From: Brunswick/Hotham

"Jammy" Watson was a centreman who played in 1880 and 1881 before moving to Norwood in 1882. During a visit to Melbourne that year he played one game against Essendon.

He had played with Hotham in 1878 and 1879, and was picked in an 1880 state squad.

Watson died of drowning in the Brisbane River in 1884.
