1864 to 1867 player. Also appeared with Royal Park from 1864 to 1866, and Carlton in 1866.
Played exclusively with Carlton from 1868 and was named their captain in 1873.
In 1876 he moved to South Australia to join South Adelaide and captained them to their first premiership the next year.
He died after an accident on a building site.
