Don Scott

DOB: 20 December 1947

Former Hawthorn champion who served as Melbourne's ruck coach from 1988 through the 1991 Brownlow Medal season of Jim Stynes.

Scott led the Hawthorn movement which defeated the 1996 merger between the two clubs.

In late 1980, Scott was linked with a move to Melbourne under new coach Ron Barassi but remained at Hawthorn.
