Milestones:
Biggest loss and lowest score against Carlton
The first game played after the AFL enforced a lockout of fans due to the thread of the COVID-19 virus, approximately 80 friends and family of players that had pre-arranged to go to the game were allowed to attend.
A week after registering a record win against West Coast, Melbourne's notoriously flaky forward line failed again. They missed plenty of chances, allowing the Blues to take over in the second half and register a comfortable victory.
Best were Paxman, Hore and Gay. Lampard injured her left knee and Goldrick her leg.
The remaining home and away games were cancelled as the season moved directly to the finals.
