The Demons went missing in the middle two quarters but stormed home with an eight goal to two last term to pip the Tigers by a point.
From quarter time to the last change the Demons kicked 1.12 and it looked like being their undoing, but the last term blitz took the Tigers by surprise and the 1974 wooden spooners had their second practice match win in a row.
