20-year-old centreman/half-forward who impressed in the 1957 pre-season but did not play a senior game. He had signed with Collingwood in 1954 and appeared in their pre-season practices, but by 1957 their claim on him had expired. He trialled again with the Pies, before having a runs with Melbourne, then Hawthorn but didn't make the grade.
Returned to Shepparton and won their best and fairest award in 1960.
