Victorian state player and vice-captain - 1879

Player between 1874 and 1882. Captained the side in 1878 and 1879.

He was later principal of schools in Tasmania and Sale.

There is a Fred Sillett referered to in some sources. It's not clear if this is the same person. Probably the R. Sillett who played for Geelong in 1869.

Said to have been the captain for seven years 1873 - 1879.
