First Shelley Scott, then Sarah Perkins, and finally Lily Mithen with a minute to play. Earlier in the game Mithen had kicked the first goal of her senior career.

Best were Paxman, Birch and D. Pearce.

Victory qualified the Demons for a Preliminary Final against Fremantle. The game wasn't played due to the cancellation of the AFLW season the next day.
