Career statistics
After eight games with Footscray in 1927, Glover joined Prahran. Recruited by Melbourne in the 1929 pre-season, Glover still required a clearance from Footscray as he lived in their district. Glover didn't make Melbourne's list and returned to Prahran. In July he applied for a clearance to Fitzroy, producing evidence that Melbourne were happy to let him go, but as he'd played several VFA games after returning to Prahran Melbourne no longer held his rights. Fitzroy didn't know they needed a clearance from Footscray and missed the July 1 deadline for registering a new player and Glover wasn't able to join them.
