Forward who played one season at Collingwood in 1911 and was cleared to Melbourne before the 1912 season. Sheehan didn't play another senior game and was cleared to the City club in Launceston before the 1913 season.

Sheehan returned to Victoria in 1915 and was cleared to play for Richmond, where he played in 1915 and 1917. He served in World War I. Later moved to New South Wales and captained their state side in 1922.
