Burst onto the AFL scene with five goals in a narrow win over the Blues in 1990 but struggled for goals thereafter. Found it impossible to force his way into a 1991 forward line featuring Jakovich, Bennett and Cuthbertson and was delisted.

Drafted by Carlton in the 1992 Mid-Season draft he went on to feature in their side for the next five years. Kicked a career high 48 goals in the 1993 season and played in the losing Grand Final side. Also put together a string of games in their 1995 premiership year before being dropped for the finals.

Later moved to Port Adelaide for their first two seasons before retiring. He played in premierships for Northcote Park (DVFL) and Ainslie (ACTAFL) then coached Greensborough in 2001 and 2002.

Now runs a real estate business in Brighton, Victoria.
