Having broken Norm Smith's club goals record in round 8, David Neitz broke Robbie Flower's club games record and celebrated with a single handed demolition of the Saints. He kicked the first three goals of the game en route to eight in total, and turned the clock back with some scintillating play. Six to half-time was a fine reward for the occasion.
St. Kilda rallied late but the Demons held on to win.
