Under 19s player in 1991. When the competition was abolished after that season he played for the Southern Stingrays and was drafted by Essendon with pick seven of that year's mid-season draft.

Injury stopped him from playing a game with the Bombers, and by 1993 was back with Melbourne, playing Reserves in Number 40 after which he was picked in the mid-season draft again, this time by Collingwood.

Named as ruckman in the Old Camberwell team of the 2000s. Also played for Edithvale-Aspendale and Bonbeach during that decade, winning a flag with Edithvale-Aspendale in 2000 and Bonbeach's Best and Fairest in 2004.
