The improving Saints came into the game with an unbeaten record (albeit with two wins against expansion sides), but were blown out of the water by one of the most dominant quarters in AFLW history. Melbourne then failed to kick another goal for the match, registering a further 0.9, while St Kilda made the margin more respectable.
Best were Purcell, West and Hanks. Tayla Harris (dangerous tackle) and Jordan Ivey (rough conduct) were suspended for a week
