Career statistics

Trained with the club before the 1940 season, but had also been signed by Richmond.

Served with the army from 1942 to December 1946.

In 1947 while playing for Sandringham he was again linked with a move to Melbourne, but stayed with the Zebras when it became clear the club wouldn't clear him. Still tied to Richmond, he joined them for 12 games in 1948. After failing to win a clearance to Lilydale in the 1949 pre-season, he suffered two dislocated shoulders.

Captain-coached Croydon in 1950 and Lilydale in 1951, before playing with Freighters from 1952 to 1953.
