Country zone player and two time B&F winner in the Tungamah League, tied to the club in 1985 as a 20-year-old.

Invited to Melbourne by Ron Barassi, he arrived when John Northey took over. Played two reserves games in 1985 and was voted best-on-ground in his second but was not retained and moved to Yarrawonga. Named on the 1986 team list but did not rejoin the club.

The rover was drafted by Footscray with selection #62 in the 1989 National Draft after winning two Ovens & Murray League best and fairest awards. He played night games but never made the seniors and returned to Yarrawonga.

Moved to Barooga in 1992 and played in three flags. He then went to Benalla for two years before returning to Barooga.

Came out of retirement once to play for Devenish, then for a season at Howlong aged 45.
