Career statistics

1931 supplementary list player. Invited to train with league clubs again in 1933 but declined. When he joined Fitzroy in 1934, his new side played a Goulburn Valley representative team as a courtesy to Mooroopna.

Played three games with the Roys before joining Oakleigh the next year, midway through 1936 he was cleared to North Melbourne and played nine games. After one match in 1937 he left to become captain/coach of Balldale for two seasons, and led Brocklesby to a premiership in 1939. At Port Melbourne in 1940 and 1941 until his career was interrupted by war service, returning to play with both Port and Northcote in 1945.

Enlisted in the army in June 1940 but was discharged in October of that year as medically unfit for duty.
