1893 to 1896 defender. Played at Richmond from 1890 to 1892, then requested a clearance to Melbourne. He cited that he had lost interest in playing for Richmond, and that he was an MCC bowler anyway so the move made sense. His clearance was initially refused, before Richmond relented and he signed with Melbourne.

Left for England before the 1897 season.
