Tall half-forward who played two games with North in 1932, before spending 1933 in their Seconds side. Joined Melbourne in 1934 but did not make it out of the Seconds. In the 1935 pre-season he asked for a clearance to St Kilda.

Morgan served in the Army from 1942 to 1945.
