Former Carlton forward who signed for the Demons in 1988, but two hours later pulled out of the deal and joined North Melbourne instead. As he had signed a contract Melbourne could have held him but instead let him go to the Kangaroos.
He only played two games for them before joining Sydney in 1989.
In 1991 he lived in England and played in a premiership with the Earls Court Kangaroos club. He later served as an assistant coach with the VFL Northern Bullants from 1998 to 2001, then as senior coach of Katamatite in 2006.
In 2007 he became an assistant with the TAC Cup Murray Bushrangers before becoming senior coach in 2010. He returned to Melbourne as a development coach in 2016. Assistant coach of the Northern Blues in 2017.
