Career statistics

Cleared to Prahran, then on to Fitzroy in June 1934. Debuted for the Maroons that year and was with them for three seasons, playing nine games in his first year, eight in his second and six in 1936 before going back to Prahran.

He rejoined Melbourne in late 1937, where there were hopes for him to play full back, but returned to Prahran after the pre-season. In 1938 he rejoined Fitzroy for a second time, then finished the season at Prahran.
