Career statistics

Drafted to play as a tall forward Rogers was an Under 16 All-Australian in 2000 and an AIS/AFL Academy member in 2001. Melbourne picked him up with a second round pick at the end of that year.

He spent 2002 playing for VFL affiliate Sandringham, and made encouraging progress including a five goal haul in the last game of the season. Rogers played in the 2003 pre-season matches, but failed to play a league game and was delisted at the end of the year.

Rogers was then drafted by Sydney where he played two unspectacular games in 2004 before being delisted. He then joined Eastlake in the ACT competition, before moving to Queensland to play in Morningside's 2010 premiership side.

In 2012 he coached Morningside in the NEAFL competition, and in 2014 he joined Gold Coast as the head of their development academy, working there as a development coach until 2018.
