The Demons extended their record in international games to 6-0 in driving rain. An inexperienced Adelaide side with 12 young players had not kicked a goal at half-time in one of the worst exhibitions of Australian Football ever played overseas. The Crows kicked all of their goals in one five minute burst during the middle of the third quarter.

Two fans streaked across the ground during the match.
